MARITIM Hotels - unique meeting spaces

Maritim Hotels is Germany’s leading hotel chain for conferences and events. With 34 first class hotels throughout Germany, Maritim offers the perfect location for any event.

One of Maritim’s most unique meeting locations is the old riding hall located at the Maritim Hotel Stuttgart. The riding hall was built in 1885 and was initially used to develop the city’s horse market.

During that period, equitation events, circus and opera shows as well as exhibitions and presentations took place in the riding hall which was built in the renaissance style.

In 1926 the riding hall was sold to entrepreneur Robert Bosch who established the original head office of the “Robert Bosch GmbH” in the area next to the riding hall.

The riding hall was severely destroyed during World War II but was rebuilt close to its original shape. Since 1993 the old riding hall belongs to the Maritim Hotel Stuttgart and has since then served as an unique meeting space for many international events and meetings.

If you would like to find out more about the old riding hall or other unique meeting spaces:

Old Town Frankfurt

Frankfurt, a vibrant city steeped with both a rich history and a thriving business economy will soon be an even more desirable destination for meeting planners when the reconstruction of the Old Town is complete by fall 2017. This project will extend the selection of state-of-the-art event facilities in the heart of this historic city.

The area of the new Old Town between the Emperor`s Cathedral (Dom) and the “Roemer” town hall  is about 75,300 sq ft. The new quarter, built according to the original plans, will include 15 “old” and 20 modern houses with flats, stores, and restaurants. This area will also include the former coronation route, leading from the Cathedral to the Roemer, as Frankfurt served as the site of imperial elections. A total of 10 coronations took place at the Emperor`s Cathedral between 1562 and 1792.

Meeting planners will be pleased by the excellent selection of venues available in this area. One of these venues is the HAUS AM DOM, providing conference facilities for up to 250 people including a rooftop terrace for up to 150 persons.
